  • Measure G renews and increases an existing Albany Unified School District parcel tax, replacing the prior education parcel tax approved through Measure B in 2020.

  • The new tax would levy $0.55 per building square foot, increasing by 3% annually, as well as $25 per undeveloped parcel. Low-income seniors, disabled individuals and other qualifying groups would be exempt.

  • The parcel tax revenue will support core academic instruction, retain highly qualified teachers and counselors, and maintain student safety and mental health services.

  • If approved, Measure G would provide a stable, dedicated education funding stream to Albany USD through at least 2028, enabling continued investments in programming and staffing to foster student success.
